Art Work by Norman Lindsay referred to as Woman and Satyrs
Under the coral trees near the painting studio you will find this wonderful sculpture work. This sophisticated sculpture Woman and Satyrswas constructed in 1943. The artist Margaret Coen was the model used for the central standing figure.
One of the crouching figures is Rose Lindsay. A small-scale plaster model of this work can be seen inside the gallery. Surrounding the base is a planting of the blue-green succulent Agave attenuata.
