Art Work by Norman Lindsay – Women and Satyrs – perspective 2

Under the coral trees near the painting studio you will find this wonderful work. This sophisticated sculpture was constructed in 1943. The artist Margaret Coen was the model used for the central standing figure. One of the crouching figures is Rose Lindsay. A small-scale plaster model of this work can be seen inside the gallery. Surrounding the base is a planting of the blue-green succulent Agave attenuata
